4987 - AHBot not stacking items properly
Greetings,
UDB: 382
TC2 (Win32): 4987
AHBot does not seem to be stacking items properly. In my config I have:
maxstackwhite = 0
maxstackgreen = 0
maxstackblue = 5
maxstackpurple = 1
In my auction house, all my trade goods are stacked as such:
White: all entries are single items (492 items total)
green: all entries are single items (502 items total)
blue: stacks ranging from 5, 3 and 1 (490 items total)
purple: all entries are single items (526 items total)
According to the instructions, an entry of 0 for stack size should let the bot stack
up to the maximum allowable stack size for an item but it seems the only way
to get a stack greater than 1 is to put something other than 0.
For example: I have 100 single entries for Copper Bar instead of random stack sizes.

I believe that the AH uses the stackable amount in the item_template. With all the settings set to 1 I have had random stacks ranging (For example copper bars) 1 to 20. I may be wrong, I am currently redoing my database right now on the server so I cant really get on to check any of the files in fear the POS might freeze up lol.

yea, copper bar i believe is one of the items you have a 0 in. Which is not allowing it to stack at all since you have stacking turned off ( 0 ) for that color item.

According to the AHBot config:
Quote:
A value of zero will disable the maximum stack size for this quality allowing the bot to create stacks
(of random size) of items as big as the item type allows.
|
Since Copper Bars can stack up to 20, a value of 0 should provide stacks of random sizes.

Indeed, thanks for that. I just looked at the code change for 5177 and it looks
good.
