Hello!

I have a "problem" with the Trinity Core to install on a Debian root server.

I think I've done everything correctly so far,now I'm stuck with the question:DBC,Maps,Vmaps?

Should I create (extract) all the three folders on my computer and upload it to my root Server? Or should I download a WoWfolder(3.3.5) in my root server and create (extract) the three folders?

It would be great if someone could help me.

==At the moment I download the World o fWarcraft folder in a .rar file to my root server, but it would take about 5hours(which would be much faster than if I would upload them from my PC to the Root, where I can download the tools on the root==

greets,
Cufcuf

You can extract them in your PC then copy them to the dedicated server

Why? What is causing the errors? They didn't exist with the older extractors.

How can the model bounds be calculated for the maps if the models errored during extraction?

They are incorrect models, that's why i said subv to hide those errors, older extractor also had errors with other things and where hidded.

It's been a while since I had to extract vmaps, but we don't need the old spliconfig.txt file anymore do we?
This is the content of that file

huh? the tools compile under both windows and linux (mac too, I believe) also, maps, vmaps, etc. can be extracted under any OS and work just fine on any OS, so, I fail to see the problem here.

Did you compile the extractors yourself? I updated the vmap extractor/assembler so the VMAPs you find on the internet will no longer work with TC
